Paper Collage and Mixed Media

Process

My process blends handmade papers, specialty textures, and digital design. I paint each paper myself using alcohol inks, acrylics, and crackle mediums, then design my shapes digitally and cut them with a precision cutter. From there, I build each composition piece by piece—layering colors, textures, and forms until the collage begins to tell its own story.

Pouring resin is often a mystery to people, and it comes with many challenges, but it’s one of my favorite parts of the process. Once my collage is fully assembled, I seal the piece under a glossy layer of resin, which deepens the colors, brings out the textures, and gives the artwork its luminous, glass-like finish. Over the years, I’ve learned how to work with resin’s quirks, and now I genuinely enjoy this final transformative step.
